Scott McGregor is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Broadcom. McGregor has been with Broadcom since January 2005 after serving as President and CEO of the Philips Semiconductors division of the Netherlands-based Royal Philips Electronics. There he oversaw one of the world's largest semiconductor suppliers, with 34,000 employees in over 50 countries. Previously, McGregor was the head of its Emerging Business unit, focusing on fast growing markets for smart cards, networking, digital media processing and computing, as well as leading the group to profitability and nearly $1 Billion in sales.
