2008 Workforce Development Conference

This annual forum focuses on bringing business and workforce-education leaders together for the shared purpose of “connecting the dots” on solving key questions, such as, “How will Orange County businesses get the employees they need? ” and “ Are education standards preparing our students for the jobs of tomorrow?”
The Workforce Development Conference will also feature the unveiling of the 2008 “Workforce Indicators Report.” The Orange County Business Council and the Orange County Workforce Investment Board, in a collaborative endeavor, will deliver a wide-ranging analysis of Orange County’s economic and labor force trends presented by Dr. Wallace Walrod, OCBC Vice President of Research and Communications.

Governed by a nine member Board of Trustees who are members of the Orange County Business Council, BIZPAC endorses candidates and/o provides financial support for those who support a pro-business agenda.
