As healthcare reform continues to be a central issue for both the state and federal government, OCBC and its Healthcare committee are actively engaged in partnering with the business community, policymakers and other stakeholders to forge creative, consensus-based solutions to help reform healthcare delivery in California.
OCBC supports solutions that:
- maintain and improve business and economic competitiveness
- maximize free market options and choices
- minimize mandates upon employers, insurers, and providers
- recognize that there is a role for governments at all levels, and
- expands the availability of affordable health care coverage for all citizens.
