Diana Kot is Vice President of Membership Development and Advocacy for SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union (FCU) headquartered in Tustin. The credit union serves school employees in California and is the largest education-based credit union in the nation with more than 1.2 million members, 70 branch office locations and $28 billion in assets.
In her position, she oversees the areas of Membership Development and Legislative Advocacy. Prior to her promotion, Diana served as Marketing Manager of Member Acquisition at the credit union.
Before joining SchoolsFirst FCU, Diana was Director of Development for the College of Business at California State University, San Marcos. Her credit union career also includes holding the positions of Vice President of Marketing at Mission Federal Credit Union and Membership Development Manager at California Coast Credit Union, both located in San Diego.
Diana’s volunteer experience includes serving as a financial education instructor and financial reality fair volunteer, adult English language and reading tutor, Habitat for Humanity, Partnerships in Education volunteer, the Credit Union SacTown 10 Run organizing committee, the Credit Unions for Kids Wine Auction committee, and Rolling Readers read-aloud program volunteer.
She currently serves as Chair to the Board of Directors for the Riverside County Office of Education Foundation. A nonprofit dedicated to providing support for disadvantaged students through raising funds for scholarships. She is also a Governing Council member for the Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership at California State University, Long Beach.
Diana has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with a minor in Business and a master’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing. She also is a graduate of the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) CEO Institute. A native of Port Huron, Michigan she currently resides in Irvine, California.
