As CEO of MeriCal LLC, Mark Walsh leads a team of over 600 employees who develop and manufacture nutritional supplements for leading brands that improve the lives of millions of people around the world. His primary responsibility is overseeing the strategic leadership of the business by working with the board of directors and the executive team to establish long-range goals, strategies, and plans aligned with driving shareholder value.

Mark joined MeriCal in 2019 and has more than 30 years of experience in the food and nutrition industry having previously served in numerous senior executive roles at organizations including: Pharmavite, Corr-Jensen, Twinlab, and Mars. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from Eastern Illinois University.

Founded more than 50 years ago in Southern California, MeriCal is an industry leader in developing and manufacturing probiotics and complicated nutritional supplements for branded CPG companies, leading retailers, and direct to consumer brands. MeriCal employs over 400 people in its three Orange County California facilities and over 200 more employees at two facilities in Ogden Utah.

Mark is married to Karyn, his wife of over 30 years, and has two sons Grayson, a firefighter for the Orange County Fire Authority, and Alex, a student at Cal State San Marcos. He has lived in the Los Angeles area since 1997 and enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing music as well as hiking in nature.
