OCBC’s top priorities as state legislators return from recess
The Legislature returns to Sacramento this week to determine the fate of hundreds of bills between now and September 15 when legislators adjourn for the year. Issues likely to be considered include a sustainable funding source for affordable housing, a Water and Parks bond, water conservation regulations, and a possible “water tax.” OCBC will engage in discussions regarding the expenditure of Cap & Trade revenues to ensure the Orange County receives its fair share, as many interest groups are interested in locking down the future revenues. OCBC will continue to monitor and advocate our position our priority bills. CLICK HERE for a complete list of the bills OCBC is currently tracking.
