SCAG Summit features OCBC on ‘Cost of Not Housing’

OCBC President and CEO Lucy Dunn, as well as OCBC Workforce Housing Chair Shari Battle, Bank of America, participated in a housing panel discussion on the “Cost of Not Housing” at the California Economic Summit. The theme of the Summit was Elevate California, focusing on addressing crucial issues facing many Californians including poverty, income growth, and the high cost of living with more than 500 civic, business and community members in attendance. The panel focused on how housing prices have affected investment and human resources decisions, discretionary spending and savings among residents and the long-term impacts, as well as the strain on the most vulnerable to homelessness. Battle and Dunn were joined by Paul Granillo, President and CEO, Inland Empire Economic Partnership, to give a full regional perspective.
