California Jobs First: Orange County Regional Investment Initiative Forum
Registration for this event is now closed as the event capacity has been reached. California Jobs First Regional Investment Initiative is a regional economic development program whose priorities are to:
• Include a diverse range of perspectives in economic development planning
• Promote an economy that benefits more residents
• Improve the environment
• Increase stable jobs
• Maximize state and federal funding into the region
A state-wide program, Orange County was named its own region, allowing Orange County constituents to decide how to accomplish those priorities. Established in March 2023, the planning process now includes an event to update the public regarding the culmination of the work that has been put into this process. The event is also a way for the broader community to be updated on what was accomplished and how they can get connected to the work as it transitions to the next phase of funding projects in the region. This is a free, in-person event, however registration is required. Due to limited space, it will be limited to 4 tickets per registration.
