Orange County Power Authority (OCPA) was recognized by National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) 2022 Utility Green Pricing Program as one of the top U.S. green power providers in 2022. Also known as a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA), OCPA exceeded the mandatory state requirements for the purchase of renewable energy as well as its voluntary renewable energy goals for retail service during its first year. OCPA serves over 230,000 customers in Orange County offering clean energy from solar, wind, biomass, geothermal and hydroelectric sources.
