Honoring 2023 OCBC Board Chair
Award-winning former NBC-LA, Orange County Bureau Chief Vikki Vargas is the Honoree Awards Emcee for the 2023 First Responders Dinner. For nearly four decades, Vargas was the face of Orange County as the OC Bureau Chief for the NBC affiliate in Los Angeles. As a TV news reporter, she received five Golden Mike Awards and three Emmy Awards for her work on breaking news and feature stories, and in early 2023 received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Radio and Television News Association.

Honorees from fire, law enforcement and health care are recognized for their heroic efforts. A panel discussion between law enforcement and health care leaders addressing critical issues impacting our communities, and how the business community can come alongside to support their initiatives, concludes the evening.
