Annette Morgan, MBA, is Chief Operating Officer for City of Hope Orange County, part of one of the largest and most advanced cancer research and treatment organizations in the United States and ranked among the Top 5 cancer institutions in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

As Chief Operating Officer, Morgan has executive oversight of clinical operations as well as patient access, support services, business development, project management and performance improvement.

Morgan has been instrumental in bringing to life City of Hope’s $1.5 billion expansion into Orange County, transforming cancer care for generations of patients and their families. She has played a significant leadership role in the design, activation, and growth of City of Hope Orange County’s academic cancer campus in Irvine and network, bringing advanced cancer care and research closer to home for the 3.2 million people of Orange County.

In addition to her role in developing the Orange County network, Morgan has developed local relationships to expand access to City of Hope’s leading-edge care, including securing a partnership with CalOptima.

An Orange County native with deep ties to the community, Morgan considers it an honor to give back to the community where she was born, raised and educated.

In 2025, Morgan will lead her teams to open Orange County’s only cancer specialty hospital, delivering breakthrough acute care, trailblazing research and more cancer-focused expertise, all for the single purpose of saving lives.

Morgan previously served as City of Hope Orange County’s chief administrative officer since joining the organization in 2018 as employee #2.

Before joining City of Hope Orange County, Morgan was a health care executive specializing in strategy and planning at Providence, one of the country’s largest health systems. As Vice President of Wellness and Business Development, she led the design and market entry of new product lines that brought personalized medical, lifestyle, and fitness services to where people live, work and play, in addition to leading the strategy for several growth initiatives across the organization.

Committed to giving back, Morgan serves on the board of directors for Orange County Business Council and Hope Builders.

In 2025, Morgan was honored as a Woman of Influence – Executive of the Year by Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce. She has been repeatedly recognized for her exemplary career achievements by Becker’s Hospital Review.

Out of the office, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family at one of the many beaches in Orange County, enjoying the region’s amazing outdoors.
