Cathi Killian is vice president, Communications and Public Affairs, at the Disneyland Resort, one of the world’s top tourist attractions and the largest single-site employer in Orange County. She oversees all external and internal communications, government and community relations. Leading a team of more than 50 cast members, Cathi is responsible for creating and implementing effective public affairs strategies, while enhancing relationships with the media, local and state government, industry and community organizations.

With over 35-years of experience at The Walt Disney Company, Cathi has served in a variety of leadership roles, including leading communications and public affairs for the international parks in Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris and overseeing external, internal and executive communications, research and insights and corporate social responsibility for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. She began her Disney career in 1987, while in high school, in Fantasyland restaurants at Disneyland Park.

A graduate of Villa Park High School, with a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from Chapman University, Cathi has lived most of her life in Orange County, CA. Currently, she lives in Newport Beach with her husband, Chris; son, Porter, a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania; and dog, Yuki. Her older son, Christophe, a competitive sailor, travels around the U.S., working remotely and competing in various regattas.
