Dave LeCause is the General Manager, U.S. Eye Care, Anterior Segment responsible for leading sales and marketing for the Eye Care refractive and dry eye franchises, including VUITY and Restasis.

Dave has over three decades of commercial leadership experience in the specialty pharmaceutical/biotech industry in a variety of executive leadership positions in both field and headquarter roles. His experience spans both strategic and operational roles leading large and complex organizations in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical and medical device field.

Before assuming his General Manager role, Dave held the position of Vice President, Eye Care Sales, providing executive leadership over the four national Eye Care sales teams. He has also held the roles of Vice President of Eye Care Sales & Marketing, Vice President of U.S. Eye Care Sales, Region Sales Director and other commercial leadership positions that span pharmaceuticals, medical device, OTC and buy and bill business models.

Dave graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting, Finance and Economics. He is a long-term member of the Board of Trustees for Hellen Keller International, Prevent Blindness, and Orange County Business Council. 

Dave is based in AbbVie’s Irvine, CA office and resides in San Clemente, California.
