Eric Morgan is the Vice President of Community Affairs at Irvine-based Five Point Holdings, LLC, one of the largest developers of mixed-use communities in coastal California.

He is responsible for the creation and implementation of community engagement plans, sponsorships and communication strategies that positively impact the awareness and investment into FivePoint communities – which include Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine, Valencia in Los Angeles County, and Candlestick and The SF Shipyard in San Francisco.

Prior to joining FivePoint in 2018, Eric served as Director of Communications at Southern California News Group, where he guided community engagement and business-development initiatives involving a variety of stakeholders including subscribers, advertisers, associates, and leaders in the nonprofit and business communities.  Eric began his nearly 30-year career in his native Chicago as a planner and producer of business conferences at ICM.

Eric serves on the board of directors for the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce and Orange County Forum, and as an advisory board member at Project Hope Alliance.  He lives in Irvine with wife Trisha and their two children.
