Felipe Monroig

Felipe Monroig is the Associate Vice President, State Government Affairs – West Region for Charter Communications. In this role, Monroig is responsible for representing the company on a myriad of matters before government agencies and elected officials throughout Hawaii, Arizona, and Orange, San Diego and Imperial Counties in California.
Prior to joining Charter Communications, Monroig served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Initiatives to San Diego Mayor, Kevin Faulconer. In that position, he worked on a variety policy initiatives and large civic projects, including efforts to expand the San Diego Convention Center and the successful negotiation of a multimillion-dollar partnership to lay the groundwork for 5G deployment. He served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Community Engagement and led coalition-building efforts for the Mayor.
Prior to joining the Mayor’s office, Monroig served as the President and CEO of the San Diego County Taxpayers Association. He was responsible for day-to-day operations and management of the Association.
Monroig received a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland and his law degree from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
