Mitra Rogers leads Public Policy for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon’s cloud computing business, across California. In her role, Mitra spearheads strategic relationships with policymakers and advocates for legislative and regulatory policies that align with AWS’s business objectives. With a reputation for her adeptness at navigating complex policy issues and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders, Mitra works to promote initiatives that benefit both AWS and the broader community.

Mitra is committed to building strong external partnerships that inform and engage stakeholders while safeguarding the company’s interests. Her extensive leadership experience includes serving on the board of directors for the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, where she has held the roles of Chair of the Board and Chair of the Government Affairs Committee. Additionally, she has served on the board of directors for both the Bay Area Council and Leadership Long Beach, demonstrating her dedication to regional economic and civic development.

Mitra earned a bachelor’s degree in business from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University. She resides in Long Beach with her husband and their two children.
