Carl Heft is the Vice President of Investor Relations for Orange County Business Council. In his role, he nurtures relationships with current and prospective OCBC investors. His background includes working as an underwriter and broker at some of the nation’s leading financial services companies, including AIG, AON and BB&T. His experience encompasses financial services, insurance, real estate, and nonprofit organizations. In 2004, he co-founded Personalized Mortgage Express (PME), a full-service mortgage brokerage for residential and commercial real estate financing. He is a member of the board of directors of the Laguna Hills Chamber of Commerce where he served as Secretary, created the President’s Circle Sponsorship program, and launched the Chamber’s first large scale State of the City event. Elected in 2018 as President and CEO, he developed and chaired the Chamber’s Annual Awards Gala, a black tie event honoring the city’s business, nonprofit, and Sheriff’s Deputy of the Year. Carl earned his bachelor’s degree in Physics from California State University, Los Angeles.
