George Boutros serves as Orange County Business Council’s (OCBC) Government Affairs Manager. In his role, George’s key focuses are communicating with local, state, and federal lawmakers to advocate for policies that are good for Orange County businesses—ranging from key issues such as economic development, workforce, housing, and infrastructure.

George most recently served as a District Representative for the Office of Senator Janet Nguyen for two and a half years. His service in both the Assembly and Senate gives him a deep understanding of the issues impacting Orange County employers, their employees, and residents. He worked closely with many local stakeholders discussing legislative matters and priorities with local chambers of commerce, nonprofits, and public officials. He also previously held roles in various capacities working in the fields of public relations, public affairs, and campaign management.

George received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Economics from California State University, San Bernardino in 2018.
