Maiken Sorenson is the Communications and Social Media Specialist for Orange County Business Council (OCBC). In her role, she supports OCBC’s communications efforts by managing social media, assisting with print and digital content creation for events and publications, and updating the website.

Maiken graduated from Concordia University Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and minors in Business Administration and Graphic Design. She previously worked in the university’s Marketing and Communications department, where she updated content, developed articles, and assisted with the university’s rebranding in 2022. At OCBC, she leverages her creative skills in writing, graphic design, and social media management to effectively communicate the organization’s mission and engage its audience.
