Christina L. Byrne, MPA, Joins Orange County Business Council Board of Directors
IRVINE, CA (May 7, 2026) — Executives from Orange County hospital systems and health care providers examined how clinical innovation translates into real‑world impact across Orange County at Orange County Business Council‘s (OCBC) 2026 Health Care Forum, “Behind Every Breakthrough: Driving Clinical Innovation and Impact in Orange County” before an audience of 200 local business leaders on May 6 in Huntington Beach.
The moderated panel focused on timely topics such as clinical trials and treatment breakthroughs and examined Orange County’s role as a leading healthcare destination for innovation, investment and collaboration. The panel included moderator Jeffrey Ball, Orange County Business Council President and Chief Executive Officer, and panelists Barry Arbuckle, Ph.D., MemorialCare, Chief Executive Officer; Peter D. Chang, M.D., UCI Health, Associate Professor in the Departments of Radiological Sciences and Computer Science, Director of the Institute of Precision Health and Founding Director of the UCI Applied AI Research Center; Pashtoon Kasi, M.D., M.S., City of Hope Orange County, Medical Director of GI Medical Oncology, Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research, Rad Family Chair in Gastrointestinal Oncology; Jennifer Phan, M.D., Hoag Digestive Health Institute, Medical Director for the Hoag Irvine Advanced Endoscopy Center, Director of Bariatric Endoscopy and Program Director of the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship; Payman Roshan, Kaiser Permanente Orange County, Senior Vice President and Area Manager; and Greg Wright, Edwards Lifesciences, Sr. Vice President R&D, Surgical.
