Laureen Driscoll, MBA, MSN, RN, NE-BC

Laureen Driscoll is chief executive for Providence’s South Division. The Division includes 17 hospitals in Northern and Southern California along with numerous medical offices, clinics, and specialty care facilities. Laureen had previously been Providence’s regional chief executive for Northern California.

Prior to joining Providence, she served as president of Tacoma General and Allenmore Hospitals and was the West Pierce and Kitsap market leader for MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Wash. She has also served as president of MultiCare Deaconess Hospital and vice president of operations to help lead the integration of their acquisition of Rockwood Health System.

Prior to MultiCare, Laureen served as chief operating officer for Providence Swedish Cherry Hill Campus in Seattle and vice president of Swedish Heart and Vascular Institute. She has served in a variety of administrative nursing leadership roles throughout her career.

She began her career as a registered nurse in Portland, Maine, earning her BSN from the University of Southern Maine. She went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing Administration at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and continued her education at the University of Washington earning a Master’s in Business Administration.

Laureen’s deep commitment to health care is evident in her intentional interactions with caregivers. She is known for rounding and connecting while creating unity and teamwork among colleagues.

Laureen and her husband John live in Southern California and have three grown sons.
